We have been told that there will be a Battle Lord, a Servant Lord and an Ash'rak for the Goa'uld Archetype.
"The easiest example of this is the New Mind Goa'uld. The Goa'uld archetype has three specializations to choose from, the Battle Lord, Servant Lord and Ashrak.
The Battle Lord focuses on combat skills and abilities that have a direct effect on the battlefield. Of the three Goa'uld paths, the Battle Lord has the widest access to weapons. The Battle Lord is the New Mind Goa'uld's ultimate soldier, as intelligent and insightful in combat as he is powerful and shrewd.
The Servant Lord is the pet master Goa'uld. He is never seen without an entourage. This can range from his Lotar personal servant up to, at high levels, Kull warriors called on to take out the Goa'uld's enemies. The Servant Lord's abilities focus on controlling and enhancing the Goa'uld's pets.
The Ashrak is a master assassin. He is a trained killer who over time masters stealth, devastating melee attacks and deadly poisons. He is not as versatile in combat as the Battle Lord nor does he have the minions commanded by the Servant Lord, but when you need someone dead right now, no one gets the job done as efficiently as the Ashrak."
1) Can you explain to us how a Goa'uld character will specialize in these?
2) Can the Goa'uld specialize a little in each area or will they have to choose one specialization?
3) Will the player be able to change their mind and re-specialize into another bracket, and if so, at what cost?
4) It has been said that this game offers a great deal of cover and concealment and this will assist players in combat. How will this fare for the Ashrak that specializes in close combat?
5) Will the Servant Lord type be able to command their pets at will? Will the pets get stronger as the player grows in level or will the player receive more pets? Will there be any specialization in the pets or will they all look alike? Will the player be able to name their pets? How many pets can a Servant Lord have at their sidposal at one time? Explain to us as much as you can about the pets that the System Lord can use.
6) The developers have stated that the Goa'uld might be able to change hosts later with a cost? How will this work and at what cost? It was also recently stated that the Goa'uld will not be able to change hosts? Which is true? Inquiring minds want to know.
7) Can you give us an example of a Goa'ulds skill/abilities set?
8) Will the Goa'uld characters have the ability to have glowing eyes?
9) Will the Goa'uld characters have a diverse look about them at creation or will all Goa'uld look alike?
10) Can you tell us anything else about the Goa'uld that will get our hearts pumping in anticipation?
11) Can you give us a few screenshots of the Goa'uld in action?
