GDC Preview at IGN

IGN reported back from GDC'08 with a special highlight of an in-game Stargate Worlds trailer made specifically for this year's conference, and here's an excerpt from their article:

... The trailer shown featured in-game footage from impressive-looking environments featuring futuristic cityscapes, deserts, forests, industrial complexes, and farmlands.

Also featured were a few enemy types, including small critters with plants growing out of their backs and a gigantic creature composed of what appeared to be fire that Cheyenne Mountain wasn't willing to divulge any further details about. Environments in the trailer appeared to be rather vast in scope. Cheyenne Mountain is aiming to have dozens of worlds in the game, some of which will be populated with multiple cities. The explorable space on the planet itself will range from rather small to several kilometers in size.
